Rob Roy is a tourist site, located below the Sea of Galilee on the Jordan River, offering a large range of special and challenging activities promoting team work.
A. Canoeing:
We will start with a welcome reception -coffee, herbal tea and dates in a Jordan Valley tradition. After an explanation about the site, we will leave for a canoe trip through the lovely corners of the Jordan River and the Eucalyptus trees that were planted at the beginning of the twentieth century by the first settlers.
Duration of activity: approximately 1.5 hours.
Suitable for ages: 2 years+.
What to bring: change of clothing and shoes.
B. Green Car tours
In addition to fun kayaking in Jordan, you can now enjoy Rob Roy from a stroll and quiet in the Jordan Valley without harming the enviroment
Self-driving in eco-electric vehicles (Club-Car) on the trails of the Kinneret and Southern Jordan landscapes. You will travel around to see the fish ponds of Kibbutz Kinneret to enjoy the views of the rene wed Jordan River, a variety of observations on the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan River route
The tours are suitable for licensed individuals and groups. Reservations must be made in advance
C. Raft Building:
This is a challenging, competitive and educational activity between teams.
We will start with a welcome reception – coffee, herbal tea and dates in a Jordan Valley tradition. After an explanation about the site, we begin the raft activity.
The group is divided into teams of maximum 10 people per team. Each team receives raft building instructions, construction materials and guidance how to build two basic knots which are useful in nature. Each team will receive the first word puzzle and a map of the Jordan River. Only by solving this word puzzle the team will know where to continue and what is their next task. During the activity, each team has to carry out different tasks and solve additional word puzzles. The winning team will receive a prize.
Duration of activity: 2-3 hours.
Suitable for ages: 2 years+.
This special activity is suited for Bar Mitzvah families.
